Come Grow with Us! Forsite is actively looking for a LiDAR Sensor Operator to join our Flight Team. Exciting opportunity (resume builder) for a very mature, highly responsible, and reliable individual looking for a career in GIS and willing to travel full-time for at least a year.

What You Will Do
You will be working closely with pilots ensuring camera and LIDAR properly turn on, running pre-flight testing, monitoring progress during flight, noting images/areas that are rejected for re-flight, loading flight lines into tablet for pilot, monitoring pilot for deviations, ensuring post flight that camera properly shuts down, offloading data and transmitting once at hotel for processing, determining which lines were flown and preparing next set of lines for next mission.
Other Responsibilities Include:
Candidates must be able to work comfortably in a small aircraft, including climbing in and out safely, remaining seated for extended periods, and tolerating motion, heights, and turbulence.

Work Location: Frequent travel to project locations; mobile field assignments. (90% Travel)
When weather is not conducive to flying, you will be on vacation that day but still receive your salary and per diem. You must be on station and available every day when flying is possible.
