Pacesetter Personnel Services is actively seeking Machine Operators Level I for our client in the Brookshire, TX 77423 area.
Pay:
$ 20.00 - $22.00 an hour, depending on experience. We pay weekly.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday. Some weekends will be required.
1st shift: 6:00 am - 5:30 pm
2nd shift: 6:00 pm - 5:30 am
Job Description:
- Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and technical drawings.
- Accurately read and use a tape measure to verify dimensions and material specifications.
- Operate overhead cranes and other lifting equipment to safely move and position materials.
- Perform basic machine diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Perform basic machine programming and make adjustments as needed.
- Operate multiple machines that utilize similar operating programs.
- Perform routine checks and report equipment issues or maintenance needs.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in an industrial or fabrication environment.
- Previous experience operating a Drill Line, Angle Master, Big Saw, Plasma Cutter, or Plate Cutter preferred.
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, prints, and technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of machine diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform basic machine programming and make operational adjustments.
- Ability to operate multiple machines with similar programming and controls.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
