The Ranch PA is seeking a Full-Time cook to join our Team in Wrightsville, PA.Schedule: 4x10's (guaranteed 3 days off per week / certain days are not guaranteed)

Position Summary
The Cookprepares and serves quality meals to clients in our mental health,rehabilitationor treatment facilities, while adhering to dietary needs.Additionally, the Cookmaintainssanitation protocols, proper food storage, and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and storage areas.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares daily meals within established menu parameters
- Serves daily mealsforclients
- Washes dishes, pots, pans, and utensils asrequired
- Maintains kitchen sanitation, including sweeping and mopping of floors each shift
- Maintains "clean as you go" policy within work areas
- Adheres toestablishedHACCP guidelines.
- Additionalduties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Intermediate level of culinary equipment operation skillsrequired
- Knowledge of OSHA regulationspertaining tofood preparation and storage, use of kitchen utensils, and clean up materials used in a kitchen
- Ability toidentifythe needs/concerns of clients, anddeterminepotential solutions, resolve, or redirect asappropriate isrequired
- Ability to work with andmaintainconfidentiality of sensitive information such as client care, medical-related information, or finances isrequired
- Intermediate oral/written communication and decision-making skillsrequired
- Basic understanding of addiction/recovery and/or willingness to learn,required
- Understands and respects cultural diversity.
- Demonstrate adherence toacceptedethical and behavioral standards of conduct.
- Participate in continuing professional development.
- Follow organization policies and procedures addressing the care of individuals served identified as at risk for suicide, including requirements for screening, assessment, and monitoring.
Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate’s or Bachelor'sdegree, preferred
Experience:
- 2+years' experience cooking in a similar settingrequired
- Experience in Healthcare Food Services preferred
- CPR/First Aid Certification isrequiredfor this position.
- IfCPR/First Aid is notcertified attimeof hire, certification must be obtained within the state mandatedtime frameafterfirstday of employment.
