Sr Staff Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to support our growing finance team by leading month-end close, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership, ensures accuracy, and enjoys improving accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities
• Manage the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Support AP, AR, payroll, cash management, and fixed assets
• Assist with audits, tax documentation, and compliance
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and SOPs
• Support inventory accounting, job costing, and profitability reporting
• Partner with finance and operations teams on key initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (IES preferred)
• Strong GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• CPA or CPA-track is a plus
