Warehouse Associate

Pay Rate: $20/hr.

Duration: 3-months contract (potential temp-to-hire)

Schedule: M-F, 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM 5 days a week, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.

What you will do

• Use handheld RF scanners and internal computer systems to accurately locate, retrieve, track, and log boxes of files, books, binders, and archive materials.
• Manually lift, arrange, and transport storage containers and bins weighing anywhere from 24 lbs to 100+ lbs across concrete surfaces, ramps, and stairways.
• Safely operate hand carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks to move high-volume orders; shrink-wrap and load pallets onto trucks for dispatch.
• Inspect labels, verify manifest documentation, and ensure incoming/outgoing shipments meet strict company standards.

What we are looking for

• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull containers weighing up to 100 lbs repeatedly without assistance in a non-climate-controlled, dusty environment.
• Comfortable walking, standing, bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders or stairs throughout a full shift.
• Must possess ASTM F2413-11 compliant safety-toe footwear with slip-resistant soles ("Better" or "Best" rated).
• Fluent in reading and writing English to process order tickets and comfortably navigate handheld tracking devices.

Workplace: This is a 100% onsite role inside an active record archive facility. Work is physically demanding and located in a non-climate-controlled, dusty environment requiring continuous movement, equipment operation, and manual lifting.

Contract Terms: This is a temporary/contract engagement focused on immediate operational support; standard corporate health benefits and paid time off are not provided during the initial contract duration.
