Housekeeper/Custodian

Job Overview

Housekeepers at Eisenhower Health are responsible forregular cleaning and general upkeepof:

• Patient rooms (occupied and discharged)
• Ancillary areas such as nurse’s stations, restrooms, treatment rooms, lounges
• Public and office spaces

They also:

• Respond to emergencies assigned by nursing or EVS
• Maintain adequate cleaning supplies and refill paper/other items
• Empty sharps containers when 3/4 full
• Notify nursing supervisors when rooms are ready for new admissions
• Report maintenance concerns to the EVS secretary

• Preferred:Housekeeping/janitorial experience
• Required:California driver’s license if assigned to CC8443 EVS (Professional Office Buildings)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of housekeeping equipment, procedures, and products

Pay & Schedule

• Per diem:~for 8-hour shifts; higher rates for 10- and 12-hour shifts (includes overtime)Eisenhower Health Careers
• Full-time: depending on shift
• Shifts vary; some roles are full time, per diem

REQUIREMENTS: 1 Year experience, Current PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI
