Role: Quality Engineer
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 / year
Location: Houston, TX 77064
Office status: Onsite Monday-Friday

- Serve as the primary quality resource for resolving supplier, production, and customer quality issues involving electronic and mechanical products.
- Manage supplier quality activities, including First Article approvals, material test reports, supplier audits, nonconforming materials, and corrective actions.
- Prepare 8D reports, address customer escalations, support customer audits, and analyze warranty and field-return data for recurring failures.
- Support receiving inspection and manufacturing teams with defective materials, documentation gaps, process issues, and equipment calibration.
- Create and manage NCRs while tracking quality trends and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
- Lead continuous-improvement initiatives using statistical analysis, Lean methods, Control Plans, PFMEAs, and standardized work instructions.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field, plus 2+ years of quality, manufacturing, or design engineering experience.
- Preferred qualifications include electronic assemblies or PCBA experience, functional testing or failure analysis, GD&T, IPC-A-610, PPAP, lead auditing, and up to 10% domestic or international travel
