ADirect Support Professional (DSP)caregiverprovides direct support, positive direction, instruction, andassistanceto individuals with mental,intellectual& developmental, and physical disabilities.Theultimate goalis to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible whilemaintainingtheir dignity and respect.

Qualifications

- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred.

- ValidDriversLicense (due to transporting persons served)

- Good communicationis key in this role.You’llrely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
