Job Title: AR & Billing Specialist

Location: St. Paul, MN (Hybrid schedule after training, only local candidates in Minnesota & Western Wisconsin will be eligible for consideration)

Compensation: $58,000-$62,000 annually dependent on applicable experience

We are partnering with a growing organization in the St. Paul area seeking an Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist to join their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on AR experience who enjoys owning the billing and cash application process while working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts receivable and billing activities
• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and timely
• Apply and post customer payments and cash receipts
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, and account issues
• Maintain accurate customer account records and aging information
• Assist with account reconciliations and AR-related month-end activities
• Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding billing and payment questions
• Support reporting, process improvements, and other accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, cash applications, or a similar accounting role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to research and resolve discrepancies
• Comfortable working with accounting/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
