Robert Half is seeking an IT Supervisor for a recreation company based in Beaverton, Oregon. This is a hands-on working supervisor role that will supervise four full-time employees while also remaining involved in technical projects, application support, troubleshooting, and day-to-day IT responsibilities as needed. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, assessment, selection, design, implementation, integration, and ongoing support of business applications and SaaS solutions.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
- Support internally developed applications, Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software, and third-party SaaS applications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex application and software issues across multiple systems and environments.
- Evaluate application functionality, workflows, roles, security, databases, and system integrations.
- Support application integrations and technologies including APIs and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Develop and manage Business Continuity plans to support continuity of operations.
- Provide technical leadership and help prioritize application and technology initiatives.
- Supervise and provide technical direction to a team of four full-time employees.
- Serve as a hands-on technical resource and step in to support various levels of IT responsibilities as needed.
- Help advance the organization’s IT Service Management (ITSM) practices and processes.
- Collaborate with leadership, business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to identify and implement technology solutions.
- Proven experience as an IT Supervisor, Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Direct supervision and leadership experience, including managing staff and supporting Business Systems Analysts, Business Analysts, or technical professionals.
- Hands-on experience supporting SaaS implementations, software development, SQL/database environments, security, and technical troubleshooting.
- Strong project management skills, including requirements gathering and software vendor management.
- Valid driver’s license required.
