Accounting Manager

Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with an organization in St. Louis seeking a full-time Accounting Manager.The Accounting Manager must possess strong oral and written communication skills along with the ability to work in a team environment and possess good communication skills to manage the accounting department.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

·Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

·Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with company and accounting standards

·Manage project accounting and job costing, providing insights into profitability and project performance

·Conduct financial and variance analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

·Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to drive strategic decision-making

Accounting Manager Minimum Qualifications:

·Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

·5+ years of project accounting with job costing and supervisory experience

·Intermediate Excel skills, Vista Viewpoint a plus
