Position Summary
The HRIS Service Center Associate serves as a key member of the HR Shared Services team and is responsible for providing employee support, processing HRIS transactions, system support, employee data management, and HR-related inquiries. This role acts as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate processing of employee lifecycle transactions and maintaining data integrity within the UKG platform.
The ideal candidate has prior HR Shared Services or Service Center experience, strong UKG knowledge, and a passion for providing timely, accurate, and customer-focused support in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
HR Service Center Support
Serve as the first point of contact for HRIS and HR-related employee inquiries.
Respond to requests submitted through service tickets, phone, email, and self-service channels.
Provide professional, customer-focused support while meeting established service level agreements (SLAs).
Escalate complex issues to appropriate HR Centers of Excellence, Payroll, Benefits, or HR Business Partners as needed.
Educate employees and managers on HR processes and self-service tools.
HRIS Administration
Process employee lifecycle transactions including:
New hires
Transfers
Promotions
Compensation changes
Organizational changes
Leaves of absence
Terminations
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within UKG.
Audit HR data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Support organizational structure maintenance, position management, and reporting relationships.
Assist with mass uploads, data imports, and system updates.
UKG System Support
Act as a subject matter expert for UKG and related HR systems.
Troubleshoot employee and manager system access, workflow, and data issues.
Support testing and validation activities for system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements.
Create and maintain system documentation, job aids, and standard operating procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve employee self-service adoption and efficiency.
Reporting and Compliance
Generate standard and ad hoc reports using UKG reporting tools.
Assist in HR audits and compliance reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and data privacy requirements.
Support workforce analytics and HR metrics reporting as requested.
Process Improvement
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Recommend process improvements that reduce manual work and improve data quality.
Support HR technology projects, system enhancements, and implementation activities.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 2-4 years of HR, HRIS, Payroll, or HR Service Center experience.
Hands-on experience supporting UKG (UKG Pro, UKG Ready, or similar UKG platforms).
Experience working in a Human Resources Shared Services, HR Operations, or Service Center environment preferred.
Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Healthcare industry experience.
Experience supporting multi-state employee populations.
Knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle processes.
Experience with HR case management or ticketing systems.
HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or related credential.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the "go-to" resource for HR systems and employee support while helping build a scalable, service-oriented HR function.This is a hybrid position located in our Carrollton, Texas or Columbus, OH offices.
