Warehouse Order Processor Job description

Our global 3rd Party Logistics company in Carson, CA is currently seeking a Warehouse Order Processor. This individual will be responsible for assisting with keeping accurate records of incoming and outgoing product. Will also be processing orders in WMS system. The right candidate will be able to lead on projects with little to no supervision. Will be processing orders in WMS database as well as picking and packing orders.

Warehouse Order Processor Schedule & Pay:

• Monday thru Friday (weekends as needed)
• 1st Shift **Must have flexibility with start time (Schedules vary 5am – 7am start times available)
• Starting at $18/hr.
• Contract to Hire Positions
• Weekly Pay

Warehouse Order Processor Job Duties:

• Basic Computer knowledge, Warehouse management system (6 months to 1-year experience preferred)
• Using an RF Scanner, entering inventory data in our computer database
• Packaging and labeling product prior to shipping.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to shrink wrap or palletize orders.
• Ability to pack and close boxes.
• PC literate. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
• Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, and vendors.
• Accurate typing skills and/or data entry.
• Read, comprehend, and write basic correspondence.
• Punctual with strong attendance history, consistently be to work on time.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties, follow through assignments with a minimum of direction, and be extremely detail-oriented
• Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.

Warehouse Order Processor Job Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a Drug test, Background Check and E-Verify
• Good job stability
• Previous RF Hand Scanner experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work individually or with a team
• Bilingual is Plus. Must be fluent in English.
