We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a support our team serving customers in Washington. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, can think through billing and account questions, and is comfortable managing a steady flow of inbound calls. In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for consumers by resolving payment, and account-related concerns while delivering compassionate and detail-oriented service. Candidates who bring prior call center experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a dependable work style will be well positioned for success.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to inbound calls from consumers with questions related to accounts, billing concerns, and general service support.
• Process customer payments accurately and assist individuals with electronic billing options and account access issues.
• Review account information to confirm demographic info account status and help clarify the source of outstanding balances or delayed billing activity.
• Guide consumers through available payment plan options and explain next steps in a clear and supportive manner.
• Troubleshoot basic platform or account issues and serve as a liaison between the consumer and billing teams.
• Manage daily call volume effectively, including higher-traffic periods at the beginning of the month and during statement cycles.
• Maintain accurate documentation while handling sensitive customer information with care and professionalism.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similarly fast-paced support environment.
• Ability to handle inbound phone interactions professionally while providing clear answers and a consumer-focused experience.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to investigate billing questions and identify practical solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
• High attention to detail, especially when processing payments, reviewing account information, and documenting interactions.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to maintain a consistent schedule, including limited time off during the first 90 days.
• Comfortable learning account and billing-related processes in an entry-level role with growth potential.
