Jr. Account Manager - Healthcare Technology Solutions

Full-Time | W-2 | Reports to VP of Operations
Compensation: $58,000–$69,000 per year
This Is Not a Traditional Sales Position. Hands-on IT and installation experience is required and is part of this role.
Cogent Technology Resource is hiring a Jr. Account Manager to develop into a customer-facing account-management position supporting hospitals and healthcare organizations throughout Metro Atlanta.
This is a structured growth opportunity for someone with experience in healthcare technology, medical equipment, AV, low-voltage systems, installation, field service, IT deployment, construction coordination, facilities, or technical project support.
The person selected for this position will begin by working alongside Cogent's field teams for approximately two to four months to understand what we install, how our projects are completed, and what our technicians experience in active healthcare environments. This requires current vaccination records and successful completion of a comprehensive background check. Applicants must meet all company-specific background-screening requirements to be eligible for employment and assignment.
They will then spend approximately six months in an administrative support role, assisting Account Managers and Account Coordinators from the office before gradually beginning to work directly with customers.
Cogent works with hospitals and healthcare systems to plan, coordinate, and implement technology solutions used in active patient-care environments. Our work includes patient-facing technology, clinical workstations, computers, displays, mounting systems, mobile carts, virtual-care equipment, and supporting infrastructure.
We do more than sell products. We help customers plan practical solutions, coordinate installation requirements, and successfully complete projects in complex healthcare environments.
Training and Development Path
This position is designed to develop someone into a knowledgeable and capable healthcare technology Account Manager.
Phase One: Field and Technical Immersion

Travel and Location
This position is based out of Cogent’s office in Tucker, Georgia.
Travel requirements will vary by training phase. The initial field-training period will require regular travel to hospitals, healthcare facilities, and project locations throughout Metro Atlanta. The office-support phase will be based primarily in Tucker, with periodic field visits and meetings.
As the Jr. Account Manager begins working directly with customers, local travel may increase to approximately two or three days per week. Occasional travel within the Southeast may also be required, generally within a five-hour driving radius.
