- Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Caseload Details
- Setting: Elementary (1:1 support)
- Student exhibits severe maladaptive behaviors
- Toileting support is required
Key Notes for Recruiting
- Must have hands-on experience with severe behaviors
- Confirm candidate is comfortable with high-acuity behavioral needs
- Confirm candidate is comfortable commuting to the site
Requirements
- Must meet Delaware DOE requirements (effective Feb 1):
- Completed paraeducator certification OR 60 college credits, OR
- Willing to take and pass the paraeducator exam prior to start
Additional Requirements
- Fingerprinting (CBC): $85 (candidate-paid)
Confirm candidate acknowledges and agrees prior to submission
Pay
- $28–$34/hour depending on experience, caseload, and credentialing
