TEMPORARY/FULLTIME(12 WEEKS)REGISTEREDCOUNSELOR OPPORTUNITY- CA
Counselor willbe responsible foroffering support andassistanceto patients enrolled in Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid usedisorder. Utilizing evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed approach, the counselor will help patients develop individualized coping techniques and symptom management skills that enablethento experience improved quality of life. Through collaboration with doctors,nursesand a multidisciplinary team, the counselor will play a vital role in evaluating patient progress and developing an individualized plan of care.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service at regularly scheduled intervals based on patientneed, bestpracticesand state regulations; coordinate all services throughout treatment.
Conducts initial assessment and evaluation todetermineeligibility for services.
Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment.
Establish individualized treatmentplanwith each patient and review as clinicallyindicated.
Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints.
Develop aftercare and discharge plans.
Other related duties asdeterminedby supervisor.
Qualifications:
Registered Counselor in the State of California.
Previousexperience working with chemically dependent individualsa plus.
Mustdemonstratea positive, non-judgmental, andacceptingattitude toward our patient population.
Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
Salary Range:
Salary ranges from $25.13to $26.13an hour.
The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education,specialtyand training.
