Piano Teacher - In-Home Lessons - Prosper / Frisco Area, TX

$33–$40/hour (W-2 Employee)

Maestro Musicians Academy is seeking a passionate and reliable piano teacher to join our growing team as we expand into the Prosper and Frisco area.

Since 2014, Maestro Musicians Academy has helped hundreds of children develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love of music through high-quality private instruction. We currently serve families in Massachusetts and Ohio and are now expanding into North Texas.

This position involves teaching private piano lessons in students’ homes in the Prosper/Frisco area. If you enjoy working with children and want to focus on teaching while we handle student recruitment, scheduling, billing, and administration, we would love to hear from you.

Teaching Schedule

Typical teaching hours:

• Weekdays: 3:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM

Applicants should be available for at least one consistent teaching day per week (minimum 4 hours).

Teaching schedules will be built based on student enrollment, teacher availability, and geography. Whenever possible, students will be scheduled in geographically convenient areas to create an efficient teaching route.

Responsibilities

• Travel to students’ homes in the Prosper/Frisco area to teach weekly private piano lessons
• Provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction to children and teens
• Communicate positively and professionally with parents regarding student progress
• Maintain a reliable and consistent weekly teaching schedule
• Prepare students for performances and recitals
• Keep brief lesson notes and attendance records
• Represent Maestro Musicians Academy professionally when working in families’ homes

Qualifications

• Experience teaching piano to children
• Strong piano and general musicianship skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in students’ homes
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between students in the Prosper/Frisco area
• Bachelor's degree in Music preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and develop long-term relationships with students and families

About the Opportunity

This position is ideal for a teacher who enjoys working closely with children and families and wants to become part of a growing music education program.

Rather than requiring families to travel to a studio, teachers travel to students’ homes for lessons. Initial teaching hours will depend on enrollment demand and teacher availability, with opportunities to add students as the North Texas program grows.

We are especially interested in teachers seeking a consistent, long-term teaching schedule rather than short-term or temporary work.

Lessons are taught in students’ homes throughout the Prosper/Frisco area. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling locally between students.
