QC Inspector

JSG is hiring a QC Inspector -1st shift for our client in Orange, CA. Must be willing to walk and move in/out on the Production floor. This position will focus on first article reports, creating work methods sheets, supplier communication, and supplier performance metrics reports.

Pay rate: $23-$28 DOE | Temp to Hire

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming/receiving inspection duties
• Inspection of detailed parts, assembles, and first articles
• Write NCMR and report metrics
• Follow up with production and leader regarding nonconforming products
• Collaborate in and lead MRB meetings
• Create work methods sheets
• Cross sections and inspection photographs
• At times, may need to communicate with suppliers
• Collaborate with respective departments in a way that leads by example, holds people accountable and utilizes data to make informed decisions
• Enforce and interpret the Quality and AS9100 QMS standards
• Involve supervisor with all quality deficiencies

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in quality strongly preferred
• Previous inspection of plastics/metals preferred
• Knowledge of inspection equipment required
• Experience with first article inspection/AS9102 first articles strongly preferred

Education & Technical Qualifications

• High School or GED required
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 required
• System Proficiency: Google Enterprise, ADP, GlobalShop
