Senior Accountant (Tax) – CPA

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll work closely with partners and staff in our open-door, collaborative culture, serving as a trusted advisor to both individual and business clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare individual, fiduciary, and business income tax returns
- Oversee the efforts of multiple engagements at once, in a variety of industries with the ability to manage and budget
- Prepare clear and accurate workpapers
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
- Effectively and actively communicate important and time sensitive matters
- Stay current on tax standards, laws, and firm policies
- Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
What We’re Looking For:
- CPA license (or actively pursuing licensure)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in public accounting with a tax focus
- Strong technical knowledge of business, individual, and state/local tax preparation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and budgets
- Ability to leverage current technologies while embracing new tools and concepts to enhance efficiency and client service
- Ability to communicate complex financial information with clarity and professionalism, both in writing and verbally
- Staff supervisory and project leadership experience
- Perform complex financial analysis
- Excellent verbal, written & listening communication skills
- Ability to be self-directed, work with a team or autonomously
- Excellent client development/relationship building skills & ability to identify potential client opportunities with firm leadership
