Job Title: Assistant Controller
Location: Parsippany, NJ, 3 days a week
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Description:

Seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to support the build-out of its North American finance organization during a major transformation and ERP implementation.

Key Requirements

• CPA required
• Experience in Controller, Assistant Controller, Record-to-Report (R2R), or Controllership functions
• Strong background in intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and royalty accounting
• Experience supporting Source-to-Pay (S2P/P2P) processes
• Solid US GAAP knowledge
• ERP experience (SAP or Dynamics preferred)
• Big 4/public accounting experience is a plus
• Experience in a carve-out, shared services, or PE-backed environment is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and royalty cross-charges
• Support statutory reporting, audits, and compliance
• Partner with tax, treasury, procurement, and shared services teams
• Support ERP implementation and TSA transition activities
• Drive issue resolution across finance operations and transaction processing

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $51.00-$56.00 per hour.
