We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery and facility equipment. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional who enjoys diagnosing problems, working with tools, and keeping manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Provide daily maintenance support to the manufacturing floor.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC machines and other production equipment.
- Clean and maintain CNC coolant tanks to help prevent equipment issues and extend machine life.
- Diagnose and repair assembly and deburring equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems throughout the facility.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs, including leaks, drains, and fixtures.
- Support facility maintenance, including lighting and general repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve problems.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) activities and help maintain a safe workplace.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs using basic computer systems.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in mechanical maintenance is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Experience maintaining CNC machinery or manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation.
- Forklift certification preferred/required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a production team.
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
- Must meet any applicable U.S. government export-control authorization requirements.
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on manufacturing position. Candidates should be comfortable with:
- Lifting and moving heavy equipment or materials.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Working around manufacturing machinery.
- Working at heights and in confined spaces when required.
- Working in a variety of shop and facility conditions.
