Schedule:Monday–Friday

About the Role

We’re looking for an experiencedProduction Plannerto help keep manufacturing operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you’ll coordinate production schedules, materials, capacity, and priorities to help ensure orders are completed on time and meet quality standards.

You’ll work closely with Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and other teams to identify challenges, keep production on track, and drive improvements across the manufacturing process.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and manage daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, priorities, and material availability.
  • Coordinate production activities across one or more product lines.
  • Prepare, release, and track job orders and required production documentation.
  • Ensure materials are available and staged when needed.
  • Evaluate manpower, equipment, and machine capacity and help develop staffing and overtime plans.
  • Monitor production progress, identify potential delays, and coordinate solutions.
  • Communicate production status, risks, and recovery plans to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Work with Quality to coordinate inspection and job release.
  • Maintain accurate ERP/MRP information and support inventory accuracy.
  • Track key performance metrics such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, throughput, backlog, yield, and efficiency.
  • Participate in weekly order-status meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help ensure production activities meet safety, quality, regulatory, and ISO 9001 requirements.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong production scheduling and planning skills.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and cross-functional manufacturing operations.
  • Clear, effective communication skills.
  • Experience in a quality-focused manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
