Mechanical Engineer / Machinist - CAD / CAM (Solid Works) - In Person

We are a small firm that is looking to add to our manufacturing team. Most of your time will be working with 5 Axis CNC machines, Wire EDM and SLS/ FDM printers. Programming in Mastercam and other software, designing and reviewing designs in Solidworks as well as supervision of a machinist would be your day to day job tasks.

You will be working in the world of firearms and will regularly be around and working with military weapons systems. If shooting machine guns, driving off road and eating BBQ doesn’t sound appealing this likely isn’t the job for you.

Requirements:

• You MUST be a US citizen or permanent legal resident (Due to ITAR)
• No criminal record
• Legally able to possess a firearm
• In person work only (Carson City, NV)
• 5-10% time traveling

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience working with 5 axis CNC machines
• 5+ years working with Mastercam, or similar program
• Eager to work hard
• Willing to work long days / weeks
• Ability to have great attention to detail

Job Breakdown:

50-75% operating, maintaining and programing 5 axis CNC machines, manual machines and 3d printers

10-25% Assisting with field testing

10-25% Various Random Duties

Helpful:

• Experience with Solidworks
• Experience with wire EDM machines / programing
• Prior military service
• Experience with M4, M249, M240B and M2 firearms
• Welding / Mechanical Experience
