OSHA 30 CERTIFICATION IS A PLUS. MUST HAVE PREVIOUS CLIMB/RESCUE CERTIFICATION. RF (Radio Frequency) service technicians are responsible for RF optimization, analysis, troubleshooting/fault isolation and installation in the wireless telecommunications industry. LCE is looking for sharp, detail-oriented RF Technicians who can perform field measurements, follow well-defined procedures, use common sense - and ultimately be responsible for producing high quality RF field repairs.

The right candidate will be a motivated team player, productive self-starter who will interface with lead technicians, project coordinators, drivers, tower crews, and customers contacts.
Job duties:
- RF Field Tech-Tower Climber ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, communicate effectively with their team, subcontractors, and management. He will also identify and resolve problems that arise during projects.
- Read RF reports and perform fault isolation according to customer and employer requirements
- Operation of equipment such as lifts and or bucket trucks
- Perform set up of test equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance as required
- Examine created welds to check for defects/flaws
- Ability to learn and perform different methods of RF to obtain certifications
- Perform safety and quality checks
- Work and adhere to all safety policies
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of RF experience
- OSHA 30 CERTIFICATION IS A PLUS (BUT NOT MANDATORY)
- PREVIOUS CLIMB AND RESCUE CERTIFICATION
- Training, experience, and aptitude for electronic equipment.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Physically able to move and set up test equipment at cell
- Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Windows Laptop/PC systems.
- Quick learner, self-motivated, attention to detail, and strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills.
- Common sense, resourcefulness, and excellent sense of direction.
- Current US Driver’s License required
- Must be able to work at great heights on a lift/bucket truck and/or climbing
Desirable Skills or Experience:
- Understanding of radio frequency propagation modeling.
- Experience with RF scanner/receivers, spectrum analyzers, or network analyzers.
- Experience working in the wireless telecommunications industry in a field/operations position.
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot logistical or technical issues swiftly as required.
- Climb, run cables with a team and repair antennas and other.
- Follow all OSHA guidelines for Safety.
- Ensure that the test equipment bundle is complete, is well cared for/maintained, and is working properly in a calibrated and accurate state throughout the projects.
- Ensure timely submission and completeness of JCR's
- Understand and follow RF testing procedures as prescribed by LCE.
- Work in concert with colleagues and customers to coordinate effective test plans.
- Work with client (cellular carriers) cell technicians, RF engineers, and real estate managers to obtain timely access to cell sites.
- Maintain accurate records of field activities to comply with job submission obligations.
