Job Overview:
Pay Range: $25.00hr - $30.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install appropriate devices and dismantle or reconstruct equipment as required.
- Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and loss of unused materials.
- Maintain a clean workspace by removing installation debris.
- Contact customers prior to scheduled installation dates to verify schedules.
- Prepare estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions from supervisors.
- Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.
- Test system operations to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.
- Read building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints as required.
- Coordinate installations with emergency departments and handle necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
- Manage installation teams on larger projects when necessary.
- Coach and mentor less experienced installers.
