This role focuses on building custom cables and wire harnesses, including flat ribbon cable, for specialized applications. You assemble and process cables using a variety of hand and power tools, follow detailed written instructions and technical diagrams, and ensure each harness meets quality and performance standards. Crimping experience is required, and you contribute directly to the production of precision cable assemblies used in demanding environments.

Work EnvironmentYou work in a small custom cable and wiring manufacturing facility of about 30 employees, characterized by a family-owned, close-knit culture. The environment focuses on precision cable and harness production, including products used in government-related applications. Dress code is manufacturing casual, requiring closed-toed shoes. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional early starts at 6:00 a.m. and some Saturdays as needed to support production demands. The setting is a hands-on manufacturing floor where you regularly use tools such as crimpers, pliers, cutters, magnifying glasses, and stripper machines, working at benches and stations designed for detailed cable and harness assembly.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
