U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a component of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), is recruiting individuals interested in pursuing careers supporting the nation’s border security and law enforcement mission.

CBP offers a variety of career paths, including opportunities with the U.S. Border Patrol and other CBP operational and mission-support functions.

Up to $60,000 in incentives may be available for eligible CBP positions and candidates, subject to applicable requirements and conditions.

Depending on the position and career path, CBP employees may contribute to:

• Border security and immigration enforcement
• Preventing the illegal entry of people and contraband
• Protecting U.S. borders and communities
• Conducting law enforcement and security operations
• Supporting CBP’s homeland security mission
• Working with federal, state, local, and other law enforcement partners
