Description:

  • Lead routine pilot plant runs to support product commercialization.

  • Maintain pilot plant equipment to produce safe and sanitary product for human consumption.

  • Supports food technologists in product development activities (flavor screening, formula iterations, setting up tastings, gathering tasting data, etc.) in the Sweet Goods category.

  • Packs and ships outgoing samples to meet due dates.

  • Maintains inventory of packaging materials, ingredients and general lab supplies.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Food Science or Chemistry Preferred

  • High School Diploma Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of lab Exp. (w/ food or Flavor Company)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and with a team

  • Good Organizational Skills

  • Detail Oriented

  • Independent and able to take initiatives

  • MUST HAVE: Candidate should be comfortable with Processing Microthermics, UHT.
