Volt is hiring immediately for a Forklift Operator in Baytown, Texas.

As a Forklift Operator, you will:

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Perform shipping, receiving, inventory, scanning, sorting, and picking activities.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all operating procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse and labor duties as needed to support operations.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 7:00pm

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 1 year of forklift operating experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Valid driver's license required
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes
• Ability to lift 55-100 lbs. and work in indoor and outdoor warehouse environments.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing experience
• Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.

Pay Rate: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
