We are seeking a detail-oriented Wire Harness Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble high-quality wire harnesses and cable assemblies using engineering drawings, work instructions, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with wire processing, harness assembly, and inspection while maintaining compliance with IPC-620 standards in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies by interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, routing, bundling, lacing, and terminating in accordance with IPC-620 standards.
  • Set up and operate automated and semi-automated assembly equipment to ensure efficient production.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to assemble, secure, and test electrical wiring components.
  • Follow established ISO 9000 quality procedures and documentation requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship and product conformance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting production goals.
  • Accurately complete production records and communicate any quality or production concerns to supervisors.
  • Handle materials and finished assemblies safely, including lifting up to 40 pounds when required.
  • Read and interpret detailed drawings, labels, work instructions, and other technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience assembling wire harnesses, cable assemblies, or related electrical components.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Experience with wire stripping, crimping, terminating, routing, and harness assembly techniques.
  • Knowledge of IPC-620 standards and best practices for cable and wire harness manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 quality systems and manufacturing processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Ability to read small print and work with detailed technical documentation.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in aerospace, avionics, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • IPC-610 certification.
  • Previous experience in a production assembly or manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of harness layout, wire routing, and lacing techniques.
  • Experience using wire processing, stripping, and crimping equipment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Exton, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
