The team works closely with owners, design partners, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Overview

The Scheduling Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules throughout the entire project lifecycle. This role partners closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, contractors, and stakeholders to provide schedule visibility, identify risks, support recovery planning, and ensure projects remain on track. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in CPM scheduling methodologies and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. Travel up to 50% within state of Texas.

Summary

The Scheduling Manager will create and maintain detailed construction schedules, perform critical path and time impact analyses, support project reporting, and help drive schedule optimization across multiple projects. This position plays a key role in monitoring progress, evaluating schedule performance, and providing actionable recommendations to project leadership teams. Experience supporting mission-critical or data center construction projects is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
Project Scheduling & Planning
Develop, update, and maintain detailed construction schedules throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Manage scheduling data utilizing Primavera P6
Coordinate schedule updates with Project Managers, Superintendents, contractors, and stakeholders.
Create schedule recovery plans and what-if scenarios to support project decision-making.
Review project drawings, specifications, and contract requirements to support schedule development and time extension evaluations.
Ensure proper sequencing and logical scheduling of all project activities.
Track actual progress and update project schedules with current project conditions.
Schedule Analysis & Reporting
Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and Earned Value Management (EVM) assessments.
Analyze subcontractor schedules to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
Conduct schedule impact assessments related to RFIs, change orders, design modifications, weather events, and unforeseen conditions.
Review and validate contractor schedule submissions and schedule analyses.
Develop regular project status reports and communicate schedule risks to stakeholders.
Perform QA/QC reviews of project schedules and reporting documentation.
Support time impact analysis efforts and delay claim evaluations.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Facilitate schedule coordination across internal and external project teams.
Partner with project leadership to identify schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
Communicate scheduling concepts and project status updates to team members and stakeholders.
Maintain strong client, architect, engineer, contractor, and vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct site visits to verify project progress and schedule accuracy.
Continuous Improvement
Support implementation of scheduling best practices and process standardization.
Contribute to ongoing improvements in project controls and scheduling methodologies.
Participate in technical and leadership development activities.

Required
High school diploma.
Minimum of 5 years of professional construction scheduling experience.
Experience developing and maintaining CPM schedules for complex construction projects.
Proficiency with Primavera P6
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.


Preferred
Experience supporting mission-critical, data center, or high-tech construction projects.
Experience performing time impact analysis, delay analysis, and recovery scheduling.
Familiarity with MEP systems and single-line diagrams.
Knowledge of schedule-driven claims analysis and change management processes.
Travel up to 50%
