TOPS Staffing is hiring Mechanical Assemblers for a well-established manufacturing company in Irwin, PA. If you enjoy hands-on work, have good mechanical aptitude, and like building quality products, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team with long-term career potential.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday – Thursday
- 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (4 x 10-hour schedule)
- Overtime available on Fridays
- Pay: $20.00 - $22.50/hour, based on experience
Bonus Opportunity: Once hired by the company, production employees are eligible for an annual performance bonus that has exceeded $6,000 per year.
What You'll Do
- Assemble industrial ball valves and mechanical components
- Read and follow blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Use hand and power tools including wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, and torque tools
- Inspect parts during assembly to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
What We're Looking For
- Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints or assembly drawings
- Experience using common hand and power tools
- Dependable work history and excellent attendance
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks with attention to detail
- Lift and move components as needed
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while following all safety procedures
