Welder – MIG / StickDirect Hire | 2nd Shift | $26.00+/Hour – Great company benefits TOPS Staffing is looking for experienced Shop Welders to join a growing manufacturing operation. If you're a solid MIG/Stick welder looking for a long-term shop position, steady Monday-Friday hours, and strong union benefits, this is a great opportunity.
Schedule & Pay- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Starting Pay:$26.00/hour
- Initial training will be completed on daylight shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.
What You'll Be Doing- MIG and Stick weld fabricated steel components
- Read and work from blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings
- Fit, prep, grind, and clean materials before welding
- Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
- Make adjustments as needed to produce quality welds
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Complete basic production and quality documentation
- Learn additional welding processes as needed
What We're Looking For- Previous MIG and Stick welding experience required
- Must be able to successfully complete a weld test
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Manufacturing or heavy fabrication experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- SAW experience is a plus, but not required training is available
