Job Description: Delivery Associate/Driver

As a Delivery Associate/Driver at Alpha Star Logistics, you are more than just a driver, you are a critical member of a team that owns every mile with excellence. You will deliver packages in the Greater Cleveland area safely and reliably while helping us create real opportunity for our people, our communities, and the customers we serve every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles while strictly adhering to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues, accidents, or violations
• Load and unload packages efficiently and safely, ensuring proper handling and secure delivery of all parcels and sensitive materials
• Efficiently deliver 200-300+ packages per day by managing your route effectively and using handheld devices for precise navigation and tracking
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience by being Customer Obsessed delivering packages and smiles while proactively communicating any delays or schedule changes
• Communicate effectively and professionally with warehouse personnel, management, and customers
• Navigate diverse routes in varying weather conditions and inform management of any obstacles affecting safe, efficient, on-time deliveries
• Act with full ownership: take personal responsibility for your equipment, results, and the reputation of Alpha Star Logistics
• Perform all physical demands of the role, including lifting packages up to 50 lbs, getting in/out of the delivery vehicle, and walking up/down stairs throughout your shift (with or without reasonable accommodation)

• No previous delivery experience required we provide full paid training and ongoing development

• Eligible to Work in the U.S.

• At Least 21 Years of Age

• Valid Driver's License (Required)

• Clean Driving Record

• Ability to Commute to our Delivery Station in Bedford, OH.

• Strong Attention to Detail and Excellent Organizational Skills

• Reliable, Punctual, and Able to Work Independently

Job Types:

• Full/Part-Time Availability

• 1 Weekend Day (Required)

• 10-Hour Shifts

• Shift Time 11AM-9PM
