ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for an immediate opening in Rutledge,Tennessee. This position offers the opportunity to provide specialized instruction and support to students while collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers to promote student growth and success.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • End Date: December

  • 37.5 Hours per Week

  • 5 Days per Week

  • Special Education Setting

Qualifications:

  • Valid Tennessee Special Education Teaching Certification with 461 endorsement (Comprehensive) required

  • Experience working with students with disabilities preferred

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

  • Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

  • Ability to provide individualized and differentiated instruction

  • Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and functional needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals and Tennessee academic standards

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Implement individualized academic and behavioral interventions

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers

  • Monitor and document student progress

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation

  • Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment

Position Details:

  • Location: Tennessee

  • Position: Special Education Teacher

  • Certification Required:Tennessee SPED 461 Endorsement (Comprehensive)

  • Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week, 5 days/week

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • End Date: December

  • Compensation:$35–$40 per hour, depending on experience and district budget; subject to change
