This Manufacturing Technician role focuses on assembling, testing, and calibrating complex scientific instruments to support production goals within a dedicated work cell. You will work as part of an engaged team, following detailed mechanical, electrical, and optical work instructions to ensure every instrument meets strict quality standards. The position involves hands-on assembly, material handling, inventory verification, and active participation in a collaborative, continuous-improvement culture.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment focused on the production of complex scientific instruments, including pipette testing and fiber optic equipment. The schedule is a first-shift assignment, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with no overtime required. Work involves regular use of hand tools and assembly equipment, adherence to safety and ergonomic practices, and frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. The setting emphasizes consistent, structured workflows, clear work instructions, and collaboration within a stable day-shift operation.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
