Occupational Therapist School Setting - Rochester, MI

Qualifications:

• Current, valid Michigan OT license (please submit a screenshot of your active license with your application)
• Previous experience working in schools or educational settings
• Comfort working with a diverse student population (K–age 26)
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Dedication to delivering onsite services (remote work is not available)
• Ability to work independentlyno COTA oversight required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Provide direct therapy and interventions to address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation skills
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Monitor, evaluate, and document students’ progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Educate teachers and support staff on strategies to foster student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights to optimize each student’s educational journey
