Key Qualifications:
- Michigan School Social Worker Certification (310) is required; please submit a copy with your application
- Experience in K-12 educational or special education settings preferred

- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, parents, and other professionals to address student needs
- If certification is not held, arrangements for appropriate supervision must be confirmed prior to interviewing
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to K-12 students within a special education district
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Facilitate crisis intervention, counseling, and connect families with community resources as needed
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to implement strategies that promote academic and personal growth
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with school procedures and state guidelines
- Act as a point of contact for staff and families, supporting both students and the broader school community
