Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant educational environment close to Riverside, CA. This SLP leave replacement assignment is set to begin on January 4th and is projected through the end of March, with the possibility of extension into a longer-term role. Work at a single elementary site and manage a diverse caseload of 55 students, a mix of speech-only and resource learners.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license for California
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • School-based experience, particularly with elementary-aged children, is preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and reporting
  • Strong communicative and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff and parents

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Offer direct speech and language therapy to elementary students in both group and individual settings
  • Assess students to identify communication delays or disorders and document findings
  • Draft, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Track student progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary
  • Work closely with educators, staff, and families to support overall student learning and communication growth
  • Maintain accurate, timely student records and participate in IEP meetings

Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 35 hours per week. The assignment offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated school team, with support from an experienced school-based recruiter.
