Position Details
- Location: Itasca, IL
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
- Contract: 6 months (possible temp to hire)
Responsibilities
- Oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of medications
- Manage refrigerated and specialty medication inventory
- Verify medication orders before preparation or shipment
- Ensure proper storage and USP/state/federal compliance
- Supervise technicians handling inventory, picking, packing, and shipping
- Coordinate with sterile compounding pharmacy staff
- Monitor controlled substance inventory and documentation
- Perform cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and QA audits
- Coordinate with purchasing, nursing, and operations teams
- Use pharmacy and inventory management systems to track medications
Requirements
- Active, clear Illinois Pharmacist License
- Knowledge of IV medications
- Strong understanding of medication storage and inventory processes
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
