Qualifications and Background:

  • Current licensure or certification as an SLP or SLPA
  • Bilingual fluency (Spanish/English preferred)
  • Prior experience in a school-based therapy setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic commitment to student development
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to students’ unique linguistic needs
  • Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families regarding progress and strategies for support
  • Adhere to school policies, procedures, and best practices in speech-language pathology
