Occupational Therapist School Setting - Brookston, IN

An exciting contract opportunity is now available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking to make a positive impact in a K-12 school environment. This position offers the chance to work onsite with a diverse student population, supporting their academic and developmental success across multiple schools in a vibrant educational community. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and extends through May 20th, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 30 hours per week over four days.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and current Indiana Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Experience supporting students in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with K-12 students, adapting interventions to a broad age range
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents
• Clear communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Commitment to providing high-quality, ethical care and individualized support

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels, individually or in small groups
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop and implement personalized treatment plans
• Document progress, maintain compliant records, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support educational outcomes
• Offer training and consultation to teachers and staff to promote best practices in learning environments
• Foster an inclusive, positive atmosphere that encourages student independence and participation
