MP&L (Materials Planning and Logistics) Supervisor

Job Summary:

The MP&L Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of MP&L clerks, coordinators, forklift drivers and truck drivers, along with managing work center and resources

Duties:

· Capable to perform any MP&L staff responsibilities

· Ensure receiving activities are performed per company policies and procedures

· Assist in coordinating necessary transportation pickups to meet delivery and production schedules, along with preparing necessary shipping documentation

· Record receipts into E2 and file paperwork accordingly

· Transfer verified shipping documentation to accounting dept. for proper payment of invoices

· Assist in physical inventory verifications for accurate reporting as required

· Required to assist in annual physical inventory verifications

· Track inventory held in stores and report items that fall below established required on hand quantities

· Work with team members to improve inventory accuracy and timing of material deliveries

· Maintain a respectful and professional approach to communicating with others

· Follow and enforce all company policies including safety rules and quality standards

· Support in keeping the facility a clean, organized, and safe environment to work

· Provide necessary manufacturing support as required to meet production output requirements

Abilities and Skills:

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to work independently

· Willing to work in excess of 40 hours a week

· Ability to understand material flow and manufacturing processes

· Ability to effectively communicate and direct others
