Forklift Operator – Multiple Shifts
Location: Warren, MI
Starting Pay: $17.50 per hour, with additional shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shift
Shift Options
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM $17.50/hour
- 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM–10:00 PM $18.25/hour including shift premium
- 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM–2:30 AM $19.00/hour including shift premium
Position Overview
We are hiring experienced and dependable Forklift Operators for a busy warehouse and production operation in Warren, Michigan.
This position is responsible for safely moving products, parts, and materials throughout the facility. Forklift Operators will support shipping, receiving, production, and warehouse operations while helping keep materials organized and moving efficiently.
Primary Duties
- Operate a forklift to move, stage, and transport materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks and trailers
- Deliver materials to appropriate production, warehouse, or storage areas
- Organize and stage products for shipping, production, or inventory
- Complete routine forklift and equipment checks before operation
- Report damaged equipment, safety concerns, or maintenance needs
- Follow established inventory and material-handling procedures
- Maintain safe operating practices at all times
- Assist with packaging, sorting, staging, and other warehouse responsibilities when necessary
- Keep aisles, workstations, and material storage areas clean and orderly
What We’re Looking For
- Previous forklift or material-handling experience is preferred
- Forklift certification is helpful but may not be required if training is available
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds when needed
- Strong awareness of workplace and equipment safety
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team
- Reliable transportation to the Warren facility
