CultureSpace is a culture-based and elevated office furniture dealer with top of line showrooms in San Antonio, Austin, Houston, and Dallas. We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our San Antonio team. We are a close-knit team who are big on collaborating, sharing ideas, and getting the job done! POSITION SUMMARY

This goal of this role is role is to support efficient project delivery by preparing, building, repairing, and staging product within the warehouse and by loadingand unloading trucks accurately and on time. This is achieved by maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, safely operating tools and equipment, and proactively keeping product moving toward installation-ready status.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Load and unload office furniture and related materials on and off trucks, ensuring that appropriate padding and securing methods are used to prevent damage.
  • Build, assemble, and disassemble all types of office furniture.
  • Modify, repair, and refurbish furniture and parts to meet quality and project specifications as needed.
  • Safely operate table saws, power saws, drills, woodworking tools, and metal fabrication tools.
  • Receive, inspect, stage, and organize incoming product and materials for upcoming projects.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse; break down and dispose of packaging, parts, and boxes.
  • Operate mechanical lifts, gates, pallet jacks, and other equipment to facilitate loading and unloading of furniture as needed.
  • Perform quality control checks on assembled and refurbished product prior to delivery or installation.
  • Take a proactive, self-directed approachanticipate what needs to be done and keep busy with minimal supervision.
  • Report all product damages, shortages, and inventory or project concerns to Project Managers and/or the Director of Project Operations as soon as identified.
  • Be on time, dependable, and courteous.

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

•Valid driver’s license required

•1 year experience in a warehouse, furniture assembly, cabinetry, or similar hands-on position preferred

• High School Diploma Required

•Proficiency with hand and power tools, including table and power saws, drills, and woodworking tools; experience with metal fabrication tools a plus.

•Ability to modify, repair, and refurbish furniture and parts.

•A self-starter who is proactive, stays productive, and takes initiative with minimal supervision.

•Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of audiences.

•Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

•Must have a cell phone with an active voice and data plan.

•Must have own tools for assembly (List of tools will be provided).
