The focus is on multidirectional reinforced Carbon/Carbon (C/C) and Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMCs) that enable high-temperature components such as thermal protection systems, re-entry vehicle nose tips as well as rocket motor throats and nozzles.
Seeking Production Operators for their Densification team who are safety and goal orientated team players that help support our manufacturing team.
Job responsibilities:
- Load/unload large items from industrial equipment
- Operate and monitor high temperature and high-pressure equipment
- Inspect products to ensure specifications are met to internal and customer standards
- Record data readings and calculations accurately and timely, adhering to ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
- Troubleshoot and perform mechanical maintenance of equipment
- Record manufacturing records for processes, parts and materials
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Opportunity to learn and apply Lean principles as part Continuous Improvement activities
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Ability to read, write and understand job specifications and work instructions
- Basic math comprehension
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with hand tools
