Imagine stepping into a role where every day you help turn breakthrough electronic designs into highquality, buildable products. As the Manager of NPI Manufacturing Engineering for PCB Assemblies, you’ll guide a crossfunctional team through industrializationfrom early DfX collaboration to prototype execution and manufacturing readiness. You will report to Jim Rondeau and operate on a hybrid schedule.

A day in this role

Your morning may begin with a standup aligning engineering resources to priority launches. Midday, you’re reviewing DfX feedback and cost models for a nextgen controller, then walking the prototype line to validate process parameters and schedules. You’ll close the day coaching team members, refining KPI dashboards, and clearing roadblocks so critical PCBA programs hit their timetomarket goals.

What you’ll lead
  • Endtoend stewardship of new product introductions for printed circuit board assemblies across multiple programs.
  • Industrialization excellence: DfX collaboration, product data readiness, prototype line execution, and product cost estimation.
  • Goal setting and KPI ownership to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Resource planningallocation by priority, schedule, and skills to meet aggressive launch timelines.
  • Technical mentoring and leadership development to ensure program and production success.
Musthave background
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant professional experience.
Preferred experience
  • 5+ years leading engineering teams focused on industrialization and NPI within electronic assembly environments.
  • Handson oversight of manufacturing engineering deliverables: cost estimation, manufacturing plans, tooling recommendations, and process definition.
  • Leadership in global engineering organizations, aligning internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ownership of resource planning processes, tools, and workforce allocation.
  • Proven support for prototype execution, PCBA delivery, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Track record of establishing organizational KPIs and streamlining processes to accelerate timetomarket.
