Legal AssistantSpartanburg, South Carolina | Full-Time | Hybrid – 3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote
Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

We’re looking for a Legal Assistant to join our corporate Legal Department in Spartanburg, SC. In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative support to our legal team while helping manage legal matters, records, correspondence, and other important projects.

What You’ll DoAs a Legal Assistant, you’ll help keep the Legal Department organized, responsive, and running efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Drafting business correspondence, legal correspondence, and other documents
Creating, updating, and maintaining matters within our legal matter management system
Maintaining electronic and hard-copy records in accordance with company record-retention policies
Supporting the settlement process for installment loans, including preparing correspondence and responding to routine inquiries
Maintaining current matter statuses and providing updates to operations
Assisting with special projects and miscellaneous requests across the Legal Department
Maintaining accurate files, documentation, and administrative records
Following company policies and procedures while providing a high level of internal and external customer service
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Required qualifications include:
3+ years of administrative experience, including at least 2 years in a comparable work environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, changing priorities, projects, and deadlines
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines under pressure
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and a document management system
Ability and willingness to learn new software
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department
Experience in financial services or a related industry
Associate degree
