CWI Works is recruiting for a Financial Analyst position through the Forest Service Experienced Services (FS-ACES) Program. This grant-administered program provides experienced professionals with an opportunity to support the mission and operations of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Forest Service.
Role and Responsibilities
Evaluates financial data and uses accounting techniques to provide data and metrics on the spending of federal appropriations or other accounts (permanent trust funds, partnership funds, recreation enhancement dollars, permit administration, timber receipts). The individual uses their expertise in finance, economics, and data analysis to provide insights, forecasts, and recommendations that assist a senior executive or manager make informed choices about investments, budgets, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications
Successful candidates must be 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States. Candidates must have a BA/BS degree in related field and a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience. Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information are essential. Experience working with correspondence tracking systems and government or administrative applications is highly desirable. Proficiency with FMMI Financial Systems and Microsoft Office Suite is also required.
Hours & Compensation:
Part-Time position working up to 30 hours per week @ $80.00.
